Unbeatable again in Okayama: Team Redline triumphant in first Esports Racing World Cup

Munich – After three days of spectacular racing on three different sim platforms, the first Esports Racing World Cup (ERWC) hosted by Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) has been decided. On the final day on the iRacing platform and the virtual Okayama Circuit, Team Redline secured the overall win against a strong field in this innovative Esports tournament. The team, with the drivers Enzo Bonito, Kevin Siggy, Chris Lulham, Patrik Holzmann and Jeffrey Riedfeld, started the tournament from third on the grid on Friday, and followed that with two wins on Saturday and Sunday. Victory on Sunday was brought home by Bonito, Lulham and Holzmann, when they prevailed over Jamie Fluke, Juan Bustamante and Johann Harth of Apex Racing Team in the finale.

ERWC I, day two: Team Redline beats R8G Esports in final to win high-speed thriller at Silverstone

Munich – Thrilling race in ultra-fast race cars on the rFactor 2 simulation platform, and spectacular wheel-to-wheel battles from the opening heat to the final. Day two of the Esports Racing World Cup (ERWC), organised by Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) saw the 22 participating teams produce another evening of exciting Esports. Saturday’s winners at the virtual Silverstone Circuit were Team Redline, with drivers Kevin Siggy, Jeffrey Rietveld and Enzo Bonito. The trio won a nerve-racking final against the R8G Esports team of Marcell Csincsik, Erhan Jajovski and Maarten van Loozenord. After third place on day one and victory on Saturday, Team Redline now tops the overall standings in ERWC I.

Unicorns of Love take first day victory in ERWC I in the battle for 50,000 US dollars in prize money

Munich – The Esports Racing World Cup (ERWC), organised by Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO), is up and running, and day one served up a feast of exciting racing and drama right down to the final lap. The 22 teams from around the world produced some close battles for the top positions in the individual heats at the virtual Mount Panorama Circuit in Bathurst. At the end of a thrilling evening of Esports, the Unicorns of Love team won an eventful final on the Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) simulation platform to take victory on the opening day of ERWC I. Michael Tauscher, Tobias Gronewald and Leon Otocki (all GER) came out on top against Veloce Esports and its drivers James Baldwin (GBR), Eamonn Murphy (IRL) and Marko Pejic (GER) in the final.

Premiere on three platforms: 22 teams battle it out for the Esports Racing World Cup in ERWC I

Munich – This weekend sees the next highlight of the 2022 Esports racing season: the Esports Racing World Cup (ERWC), organised by Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO). 22 teams from all over the world will battle it out for a prize purse of 50,000 US dollars. The racing will take place in an exciting tournament format on the Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC), rFactor 2 and iRacing simulation platforms. The races can be watched live on the VCO channels (Twitch and YouTube) from 19:00 (CET) on Friday.
