- The VCO will enjoy a prominent position as a partner during the ADAC SimRacing Expo at the Nürburgring from 17th-19th September.

Munich – This weekend (17th-19th September), the Esports racing world will be focussing on the ADAC SimRacing Expo at the Nürburgring. The Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) will be there in a partner capacity, with CEO Florian Haasper on stage on Saturday to provide insights into some exciting upcoming VCO projects. The partnership will also focus on presenting a special edition of the VCO SIMMY AWARDS in five categories tailored specifically to the ADAC SimRacing Expo.
“It is fantastic that the Esports racing community can finally meet up again in the real world at the ADAC SimRacing Expo. That aspect has really been missing for months during the pandemic,” said Haasper. “As organiser of the ADAC SimRacing Expo, cowana has put together an exciting programme of events – and we are delighted to be involved as partners. Of course, I am particularly pleased to be presenting VCO SIMMY AWARDS tailored specifically for the Expo, and to give guests on-site and on the livestream a look into the VCO’s future plans. This week, the heart of Esports racing is beating in the Eifel mountains.”
Haasper will present the latest news about the upcoming VCO projects on Saturday, at around midday on the main Expo stage. The SIMMYS will then be awarded between the SimRacing Community Trophy finale and the 1-hour race in the ADAC Digital GT500 at approx. 13:50hrs. The VCO is also visible during the live broadcasts from the event.

Four of the five VCO SIMMY AWARDS designed especially for the ADAC SimRacing Expo will be presented during the event. The prize for the Best Expo Driver will be awarded afterwards. The regular VCO SIMMY AWARDS will of course be presented in December, as usual – in 13 categories. The two-week nomination window is set to open on 1st November 2021.
