The third round of the ERL Summer Cup organised by the Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) proved to be an evening full of surprises. First came early exits for the two favourites, Team Redline and Unicorns of Love, on the Assetto Corsa Competizione platform, and then the GTWR Esports team claimed their first ERL overall win in the final against the Apex Racing team.
The second event of this season’s VCO Grand Slam, the iRacing Watkins Glen 6HR, provided a feast of exciting and eventful racing from minute one. After 226 laps, Arthur Lehouck and Atte Kauppinen took overall victory for MAHLE RACING TEAM in a Dallara LMP2 car.
An enthralling opening event in the Summer Cup of the Esports Racing League (ERL) by VCO has found a deserving winner. On the rFactor 2 platform, Team Redline prevailed over R8G Esports in the finale to round off an exciting, and at times extremely dramatic, evening of racing.
As billed, it was the craziest 24-hour event in Esports racing – and had everything it promised to have. VCO INFINITY provided spectacular racing, with 24 individual races in 24 hours, and posed a totally new challenge to the best Esports racing teams in the world.
The Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) continues to turn new concepts and formats in Esports racing into reality. The latest innovation from the ideas factory is VCO INFINITY. On 7th/8th May 2022 (LIVE on Twitch and YouTube), 40 teams from all around the world will compete in this totally new 24h event on the iRacing simulation platform and join the battle for a total prize money of 5,000 US dollars.
The Spring Cup in the Esports Racing League (ERL) by VCO is nearing its climax. Round three on the iRacing simulation platform saw the final teams qualify for the big season finale – the ERL Spring Cup Masters on 20th April.
