- VCO is handing out the coveted SIMMY AWARDS for the third time.
- The ‘Oscars’ of Esports racing will be awarded in 11 categories for 2022.
- The SIMMY jury will deliberate with the community to choose the prize winners.
Munich – Who was the best Esports racer of the past season? Which was the best team? Who competed in the most spectacular livery in 2022? The Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) will be answering these questions and more for the third time at the VCO SIMMY AWARDS.
The 11 SIMMY categories allow the VCO to reward outstanding performances in Esports racing and introduce the most influential contenders of the year. Between 4th and 13th November, the community will have the opportunity to submit nominations in the VCO SIMMY AWARDS categories at https://v-c-o.info/simmy-nomination. The top-class SIMMY jury will also make suggestions for the most deserving nominations. During the voting phase, the combined top five of these nominations will then be subject to the verdict of the community and the jury.
The winners of the VCO SIMMY AWARDS will be selected during the voting phase from 15th to 28th November 2022. 50 percent of the overall result will depend on voting from the community, with the SIMMY jury responsible for the other 50 percent.

And then, on 26th December, it will be time to say: ‘‘And the SIMMY goes to…’’. The winners will be announced in the VCO SIMMY AWARDS prize ceremony from 20:00 CET.
