Cooperation between VCO and Creventic: 24H SERIES ESPORTS powered by VCO begins in October

  • VCO extends its involvement in Esports racing and launches cooperation with Creventic BV.
  • 24H SERIES ESPORTS powered by VCO features six events between October and April.
  • Haasper: “We are consistently continuing to combine real motorsport with Esports racing”.

Munich – Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) will cooperate with Dutch race organiser Creventic BV in the future. Together, the two partners will present the 24H SERIES ESPORTS powered by VCO. Between October 2020 and April 2021, six race events are scheduled in the series, which made its debut this year and arose from the renowned NEO Endurance Series.

Many well-known teams from the world of Esports racing will line up in the GT3, GT4, TCR and Porsche 911 classes. They will be out to take victory and score points in the six-hour races in Imola, Sebring, Silverstone, Monza, and Barcelona, before the 12 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps provides the stage for a spectacular season finale on 17th April 2021. VCO is not only involved in the Creventic Esports championship, but the VCO logo will also be visible on all the real cars in the European 24H SERIES in 2021.

“We are consistently continuing to combine real motorsport with Esports racing,” said Florian Haasper, CEO of Virtual Competition Organisation. “Together with Creventic, we want to develop the 24H SERIES ESPORTS powered by VCO further and to achieve even greater visibility for the series, particularly by incorporating it more strongly in our communications. The field of drivers and teams, who will benefit from an extensive photo and video service via our VCO Media Cloud, promises to produce some fantastic racing. To then see our logo on real race cars shows just how seriously Creventic is taking the close relationship between real motorsport and Esports racing.”

Niel Hekkens, founder and owner of NEO Endurance, and Creventic Esports representative, added: “It is exciting to have VCO as our first title partner. Both Creventic and VCO aim to bridge the gap between sim racing and real motorsport. Together we can raise the level of the series and help sim racing grow as a whole. With the help of VCO we can increase the visibility and content of the 24H SERIES ESPORTS powered by VCO.”
