Munich – Virtual Competition Organisation (VCO) is providing a unique photo service at round two of the Digital Nürburgring Endurance Series powered by VCO. Furthermore, the first digital VCO press conference in the DNLS is scheduled for 16:30hrs (CEST). On Friday evening, pictures showing the cars in the field were taken at the virtual Nürburgring.
A team of professional photographers will take high-quality photos of all the cars during Saturday’s race, which begins at 13:00hrs. The images will then be made available for download on the VCO Media Cloud in real time. This allows every driver, every team, and media representatives to report live on the race. At the same time, the Esports racing teams can upload their own images and videos – of their simulators, for example – on the cloud, creating a totally new bidirectional image service.
After the race, the drivers of the victorious cars in each of the four classes will attend the first digital press conference in the DNLS powered by VCO. Media representatives can attract attention using a virtual hand signal, and can then pose their questions. The press conference begins at 16:30hrs on the following link (if you are interested in attending, please check the link beforehand as you might need to download the Zoom software): https://bit.ly/vco-press-room
How the VCO Media Cloud works:
After the start of the race, images of all the cars in action will be loaded continuously onto the cloud. Each car has its own image folder, arranged by start number. The photos are released for anyone to download. Participants can also use the same link to the cloud to upload their own photos, in order to share them with VCO and the community.
